An excerpt of the set played with composer and keyboard player Mark Limacher, recorded at the March 5, 2017 edition of Bug Incision, Calgary’s experimental music series run by Chris Dadge. This iteration was held in the tiny “Vintage Room” at the historic Grand Theatre. This was a re-worked version of John Cage’s piano piece In A Landscape, with improvised violin played on top of the composed work.

Ysaÿe’s brilliant violin duo, heard here in a live recording from University of Calgary’s Rosza Centre as part of Donovan Seidle’s alumni recital.

Short audio pieces recorded in 2017, featuring the compositions of Rebecca Bruton and Lesley Hinger. Test Pattern was a project of first readings of new compositions recorded in the CJSW studios. Presented in combination with interviews with the composer, the show provided a raw look at the ongoing creation of musical composition. The episodes were played on CJSW’s long-running show Noise, hosted by Paula Fayerman.
